Hi, I just ordered two pairs of these in size 40. However, I have just noticed that the sizing is in mens rather than womens. Is that right? If so they will be way too small as the Hope mens 40 is equivalent to a womens 32 so I will need to cancel.

Hello! Glad to see you're interested in this coat! It is on the bigger side, and meant to be worn oversized, and is unisex. I am 6' tall and it his me just bellow the knee, so I think the length (which is 44 in.) would be generous. It really depends on how you want to wear it! Hi there! We only have a 36 (size small) in stock, and those measurements are 17" across shoulder-to-shoulder and 27" long. It's made of 44% wool, 54% polyester and 2% elastane with 100% viscose lining. It's a beautiful piece – you'd love it forever!

I think those are probably all the measurements you need, let me know if anything else might be helpful. My arm length is also short so I anticipate having to tailor this if I keep it. Hello Sarah! This jacket definitely runs/is meant to be worn oversize, but the smallest size we have left might be a touch too large for you in the shoulder and body. The shoulders are 19" across, and you'd definitely have no problem with the bust. It is a poly/wool blend. It's up to you on how you'd like the fit. Hello! I would really like to purchase this coat and it is EXACTLY what I am looking for. However, I can't justify risking $500 since I am a student. Since a herringbone wool coat is exactly what I am looking for I don't anticipate myself returning this but again - its too risky with the little money I have.
