Antonoff has long used her platform as a designer to promote equality, including founding The Ally Coalition with members of the band Fun. — which counts her brother, Jack, among its members — to encourage those in the fashion and entertainment industries to use their influence to end discrimination against LGBTQ people. She’s also lent support to GLAAD, Human Rights Campaign, and The Trevor Project among others, and has lately honed in on reproductive rights, which you’ll notice in her now-ubiquitous uterus sweaters as well as her work with Planned Parenthood.
