Opus Jumpsuit - Thunderstruck

All purchases are final sale. A fresh take on the beloved Accra jumpsuit, the Opus has dolman sleeves, inseam pockets, a button placket, and a tie waist. Straight trouser legs are long and great for heels or for rolling. The cotton fabric takes dye beautifully and can be dressed up or down. These fit loose on top and the waist is drawstring and adjustable. The hip is a bit slimmer, but still not tight. We recommend ordering your usual size. Eyiwaa is 5'9" and wears a size M (pictured outdoors against white fabric). Katelyn is 5'10" and wears a size XL (pictured against white wall). Caring for your handcrafted batik garment: To wash, turn your garment inside out. Preferably hand wash or machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with similar colors. Use a very mild detergent. Hang to dry. The dye will fade over time from exposure to direct sunlight. Iron (inside out) on a low heat setting or steam to get rid of wrinkles. For Indigo pieces, we wash all of our indigo fabrics several times, but please note that our natural indigo pieces will crock. This means for the first few wears you should expect some color loss. This tendency is a sign of authenticity in West Africa, and the blue is considered to have medicinal properties on the skin. If you feel differently, try soaking in vinegar salutation and drying in the sun.
