The Bata Dress by Osei-Duro is a loose fitting cotton dress featuring a mandarin collar and button front. Back cinch tie and gather details at the sides give shape to its sculptural silhouette. Includes inseam pockets. Fit is oversized. Leah is 5'9.5" and wears a size S (pictured indoors). Osei-Duro garments are hand dyed and each piece is unique. For Indigo pieces, we wash all of our indigo fabrics several times, but please note that our natural indigo pieces will crock. This means for the first few wears you should expect some color loss. This tendency is a sign of authenticity in West Africa, and the blue is considered to have medicinal properties on the skin. If you feel differently, try soaking in vinegar salutation and drying in the sun.
