Modern basics brand working to preserve and revive the art of turn of the century craftsmanship. Inspired by a vintage flea market find, menswear designer Peter Plotnicki found himself on a journey that traced him back to a clothing factory in 1911. After hearing the shirt's heritage Plotnicki felt compelled to revive that long-gone craftsmanship. From this, Merz b. Schwanen was born as a line of casual, ultra-soft, menswear basics that infuse history into every stitch.
