Black Mesh Japanese Bag from MM6 Maison Margiela. First introduced as part of the Autumn-Winter 2009 collectsion, the Japanese bag has since become MM6s most emblematic accessory. Its distinctive triangular silhouette is inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding, and origami. The buttons at its edges allow for the bag to change form through folding, evoking Maisons deconstructionist design codes. MM6s discreet yet distinct signature, a horizontal white stitch line, is present on the back.
