Sister and brother Giada and Paolo Forte started their line where they started their lives: in their family home. The siblings found themselves back from whence they came — Veneto, Italy — in 2002, Giada with a degree in knitwear and work experience as a fashion designer in Paris and Paolo with economics know-how, having managed the family knitwear factory (which has created fabrics for notable fashion brands like Prada and Dior) and expanding his own experience with work in New York and London. The two took residence in their mother’s house in lieu of an office, cooking up a collectsion in Italian fabrics with special finishes and hand done details. While the brand has since grown, it still remains true to its home country, with everything designed and produced in Italy.
