This lidded storage basket offers a functional and visually appealing way to organize laundry or household items. It is hand-woven by an association of over 100 rural Wolof women in Senegal, West Africa, as part of a project that began with a collaboration with the Peace Corps. This initiative supports rural communities through export partnerships. Each basket is a unique, handcrafted item and will vary slightly in appearance. The construction utilizes cattail stalks and plastic for durability and flexibility. This lidded design helps conceal contents, maintaining a tidy appearance in any room. Hand woven from cattail stalks and plastic for a sturdy construction. Dimensions: 17"L x 17"W x 19"H, providing ample storage capacity. Features a lid to conceal contents and maintain a neat appearance. Crafted in Senegal by a collectsive of rural Wolof women.
