Hi! Thanks for getting back to me. Sizes seem rather similar. Mind double checking the waist measurement again? If correct, think the XS would work- they seem rather similar. Usually a 26 in jeans. Its 100% linen, so it stretches a bit? If I got the XS and needed the S could we do an exchange? xx

Hi there! No problem :) Although they measure quite similarly in the waist and across the bust the front panel on the xs is shorter/smaller overall than on the small. There is no stretch to the fabric, but there are multiple button holes on the straps so you can adjust as needed. Without seeing you it's hard to give a recommendation, but if you'd like to send us your bust measurement and height we can give you our best guess! Otherwise we would say to stick with your true size. You can most definitely exchange for another size if purchased at full price, all sale items are final sale. Hmmm... would you mind double checking the waist measurement and front panel on the sizes again? It seems off that the next size would only be 1/2" different. My bust is 33B/ waist 26/ 5'3"- slight build. It's 100% linen and lined in the front and skirt? Linen gives, but not sure about the bust panel. Thanks! xx

The waist on the xs is actually 1" smaller than the small- measurements are taken laying flat. The fabric does not have stretch. We recommend taking your true size in this piece- without seeing you we cannot say definitively but based on your measurements we would recommend the xs. Hope this helps!

Hi! So the top of the dress is quite free of size constraints because of the open back. You might not have a ton of coverage in the front/ on the sides and so would need to wear a top under it, but most people do regardless of size, esp w bigger busts! Hope this helps :) xx
