Annie Costello Brown’s very first job was actually with a jewelry designer, stringing beads after school at the age of 15. Her pursuits led her to painting before returning to jewelry as an adult. ACB’s supersized, geometric pieces are evidence of that fine art training in their composition, and that early by-hand work ethic in each piece’s individualized handmade quirks.
