Made for alpine travel and mountain realities, the Beta SL Jacket our lightest Beta is designed to deliver complete waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection without sacrificing features or packability. Its next-generation GORE-TEX ePE membrane is light, thin, strong, and PFC free. C-KNIT backer technology improves comfort and breathability. The helmet-compatible StormHood protects without compromising vision, pit zippers provide ventilation, and a RECCO reflector can aid in search situations. This product is free of intentionally added PFAS. The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner but just as strong and durable as previous materials. You may notice the face fabric wetting out slightly faster in products with ePE membranes; this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. Washing and drying the jacket can restore DWR performance.
