A la Carte' Tee

These tees are a collaboration between Birds of North America and artist Neil MacCormick. Neil has painted full time since 1984 and co-owns Birds of North America with his partner, designer Hayley Gibson. The two have shared a studio since meeting in 2006. The 'A la Carte' tee features an image of a trailer found by Neil in Victoria and painted in 1993. The design captures a sense of personality and nostalgia. These tees are made in a Toronto factory out of locally milled, medium weight, 100% organic cotton jersey. They can be machine washed and tumble dried. The classic tees will shrink 1" in length with washing and drying, while the cropped tees will shrink 1/2" in length. No width shrinkage has been observed. Hayley is 5'7" and wears size S Cropped White tee; Neil is 6'1" and wears size 2X Classic Black tee. These tees fit on the larger side of the Birds size chart; for a classic T-shirt fit, they fit as expected. It is recommended to take a full size down from your regular Birds size chart size for this style. Everything at Birds of North America is vegan and made ethically in Canada with a focus on sustainability.
