Antidote is a curation of creative and ecologically-conscious fashion sourced from around the world and born in reaction to the glut of mass-produced, fast fashion flooding the marketplace. The Miami boutique was founded by French-born Sophie Zembra, a leader in the world of sustainable fashion whose many accomplishments in promoting conscious fashion include initiating the Smart Fashion Week in Paris. “Behind every [consciously-made] garment or accessories there is… the same wish: to design sensibly, taking people, animals, and the environment into account,” Sophie explains. Antidote brings together labels that are both fashion- and ecologically-minded, like Re/Done, Edun, and Stella McCartney, catering to the shopper with high standards for style and sustainability.
