Hello, we are not familiar with US sizing as we have only carried products made in Europe. So other than googling a sizing comparison, in our experience an EU39 usually translates to a size 9 or slightly smaller. The style of this slipper should comfortably fit someone who is an 8 to a 9, ideally an 8.5.
