Petrichor Candle

Petrichor is named for the smell of earth after rain. Once a year, storms come to Los Angeles. When the deluge finally arrives at the Estate, the earth heaves a sigh of relief: the birds sing, the winds blow, and the Eucalyptus begin to turn their leaves. Eucalyptus leaves are a core ingredient in this Petrichor Candle. Their oil is combined with Myrrh, Amber, and Vetiver to mimic the scent of the earth after rain. This very limited-edition candle is released on January 1st each year as an invitation to wash away what no longer serves you and turn over a new leaf. Fragrance: Our limited-edition candle is scented with pure essential oils that smell like the Estate after a rain clean air on soil and brick. It features earthy notes of Amber, Eucalyptus, Myrrh, and Vetiver. Candle Care: When burning your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the top layer of the wax has completely melted. This will help prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick. For subsequent burns, do not let the candle burn for more than 3 hours at a time. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to prevent smoke and to avoid the wick falling into the wax. After each burn, ensure the wick is centered in the wax so the glass does not overheat; the wick and flame should never touch the glass. When approaching the end of the candle, leave 1/4 inch of wax unburned and do not burn for more than 3 hours. Without the presence of wax, the glass can overheat and break.
