Walking the line between classic and avant-garde, designers Holger Gräf and Daniel Lantz are reinterpreting luxe materials into a modern, minimalist line of women’s wear. But before launching their first collectsion, the designers lived opposite lifestyles — while Holger was working on earning a PhD in structural engineering, Daniel was living in Japan, immersing himself in the country’s culture. These distinctly different perspectives continue to influence the designers’ joint creative vision today. Simple silhouettes and sophisticated shapes meld with unorthodox textures, bright hues and exposed stitching.
