London bracelet - Black Titanium Cable

Architecture The Lee Valley VeloPark was created for the 2012 Olympics. The project was completed by Hopkins Architects and Expedition Engineering Ltd. It is an example of innovation motivated by efficiency. Roof lights reduce the need for artificial lights, and natural ventilation reduces the need for air conditioning. Rain water is collectsed, which reduces the amount of water used from the municipal water system. The roof is formed with a unique cable net construction. Compared to a conventional structure, approximately 1,000 tonnes of steel was saved due to the construction based on tension elements and a ring beam. Design Width: 4 mm For our bracelet design, we replicated the roofs cables in Black Titanium. The cable is complimented by a stainless steel clasp. We custom-designed the clasp to be functional, sturdy and easy to take on and off with one hand. The longitude/latitude of the VeloPark is laser-etched on the clasp. Titanium is an exceptional metal that is both hypoallergenic and biocompatible. It is corrosion and scratch resistant with the highest strength to weight ratio of any known element. Unlike with coated finishes, the black color will not chip away as it runs through the entire metal. Made in USA.
