The Kozhukh coat is a dramatic, sculptural outerwear piece crafted from raw wild silk in its most honest, tactile state. Its surface carries the irregular texture of hand-woven fibreearthy, matte, and almost primalgiving the coat a grounded, artisanal character. The silhouette is intentionally oversized and protective, echoing the ancestral forms of traditional Ukrainian sheepskin kozhukh garments. Deconstructed edges, exposed seams, and layered panels fall freely, as if the coat were carved from a single raw material. The dropped shoulders and sweeping length create a sense of quiet monumentality. From the back, a mantle-like overlay drapes across the shouldersan organic, wing-like layer that moves with the body. The unfinished hems highlight craft, process, and authenticity rather than polish. Despite its sculptural volume, the coat envelops the wearer with softness and warmth.
