Azaleas NYC first opened its doors in 2002 in a small, intimate space on East 10th Street in East Village, Manhattan. They are known for their unique selection of lingerie, year-round swimwear, clothing and accessories - all with an emphasis on vetted classics, up-and-coming designers and hard to find labels. Each piece is carefully considered and selected by hand by their all-female team.
Italian designer Laura Urbinati is moved by art and the ocean — things that can be simultaneously simple and so complex. This ethos is applied to her eponymous line, expressed with timeless shapes, clean lines, unexpected pops of color and gorgeous prints, in luxurious materials like silk and cashmere. Minimal and conceptual, Laura’s designs are uncomplicated yet totally full of life.
