Material is hand-picked in marine marshes and worked and woven by hand using southern Italian traditional techniques. Braid-woven handles can be held in the hand, at the elbow, or on the shoulder. Bag has a round base, and doubled weave at the lip of the opening. Baskets like these were traditionally used for carrying home fresh fish from the market or the river. They're the perfect bag to bring a touch of mediterranean countryside to your everyday. Works well as is, or add in your own little pouch to keep smaller items secure.
