Laura Villasenin, the Founder and Designer of the label Miista grew up in Galicia, Norther Spain. Soon she moved to London's East to perfect the craft of shoe making. In 2010 she launched Miista with the intention to play with shapes and materials without sacrificing quality, wearability and price. Miista unites the nostalgia of Laura's rural Spanish heritage with a modernist female sentiment, translating cinematic, surreal, and retrospective inspirations into timeless styles rendered in italian leathers and unexpected materials.
