hello Theresa, and apologies for the delay. The inner footbed of the size 39 boot is about 9 5/8? or 7/8 of an inch with the shaft measuring about 13 1/2 inches. The size 40 boot is a little over 40 inches, about 40 1/2 inches. the EWANIKA team
