50's Milano S/S Shirt - Tropical Sunflower

The Milano shirt from Monitaly is characterized by its beautiful seasonal fabric and colour as well as its relaxed shape. The tropical fabric was originally made for very hot and humid conditions in South India/ North Africa. The loose cotton weave provides comfortable air flow and dries quickly. Details include an Italian (Vacation) collar with the option to conceal the neck with a button closure. This particular version stands out thanks to its bright seasonal colour. The extra top-stitching functions as a collar stand to help the collar roll down nicely. The military-standard melamine button closure is complimented by two chest pockets with a flap closure. Pocket openings are reinforced with a triangle stitching. The set-in sleeves fits the armhole smoothly without puckers. There is a comfortable sleeve cap ease for better fitting while the straight yoke provides extra support for a long-lasting shirt and the side pleats on the yoke create extra range of motion for shoulders and back. Detailed craftsmanship includes the double-needle flat-felled seam construction as well as the flared facing shape inside giving the shirt a unique and organic design.
