x Maison Margiela Club C Trompe Loeil shoes - natural

On the heels of their recent Classic Leather Tabi collaboration, Reebok and Maison Margiela continue their partnership with the release of the illusory Club C Trompe Loeil. This model makes use of the Trompe Loeil effect an art technique repurposed by Margiela since 1996 meaning to Fool the Eye where a 2D image of the Club Cs silhouette is superimposed overtop of the shoes premium leather upper. The end result creates an optical illusion which appears through contrasted linework in each cut and fold of the sneaker. Co-branded detailing appears on the woven tongue tag and custom insole, while Reebok labelling decorates the lateral panelling, heel tab and midsole. A French terry sock liner delivers plush comfort throughout, plus a lightweight EVA midsole offers soft cushioning underfoot.
