Inspired by paper food packaging, it is fully constructed in Italian vegetable-tanned cowhide using high-end traditional leather craft techniques. Each size is arranged to fit a different purpose: - Jongji Mini: For point cards you dont carry every day or business cards you cannot lose. - Jongji Medium: For small jewelry, lip balm, and keys. - Jongji Large: For pencils and an eraser. Materials: - Shell: Vegetable-tanned cow leather, Conceria Walpier tannery Natural (Italy) - Hardware (keyring): Stainless steel (USA) - Thread: Cotton/poly-blended thread tonal (France) - Edge burnishing agent: Natural beeswax (USA) - Glue: Non-toxic water-based (France) The leather used, called "Buttero leather," is one of the leading products of the tannery Conceria Walpier and is made from vegetable-tanned square shoulders with an aniline finish. Because it is a very natural material, any irregularities and imperfections on the surface of the leather are considered an added value and not a defect. Conceria Walpier tannery in Italy was founded in 1974 and is based in Ponte a Egola, one of the towns belonging to the Tuscan tanning district. In its 40 years of history, Walpier has dedicated itself to the production of 100% vegetable-tanned leathers that have become synonymous with Italian quality and excellence worldwide.
