LOT.603 Bleached Burgundy Cotton Sweatshirt

The LOT.603 Bleached Burgundy Cotton Sweatshirt by Taiga Takahashi takes inspiration from American sportswear before the 1950s, prior to the mainstream use of synthetic materials. Like the LOT.601 T-shirt, it features direct cutting lines and a flat shape. Vintage-inspired details include V gussets on the front and back of the neck to stop sweat, and elbow patch details reminiscent of repair patches found on vintage clothing. During times of material scarcity, clothing was treated as a valuable resource, with worn-out elbows often reinforced using leftover fabric, such as repurposed denim. The tubular jersey cotton is manufactured by a hanging knitting machine in Wakayama, Japan. A Rongalite finish achieves a natural fade similar to that of a used garment.
