136 Oxford Jeans - Blue

Type 136 Oxford Jeans from Tender. This cut is inspired by pleat pocket bags originating at Oxford University in the 1920s. Features a mid-high waist, full seat and thigh, and wide legs. All Tender jeans are cut with a 36" inseam to be rolled, cuffed, or tailored by the wearer. Sewn with all-cotton thread and finished with a lost wax cast solid brass button. 16oz selvedge denim custom woven in Japan from ring-spun unbleached American cotton, rope-dyed with 25 dips of pure indigo with no back tinting or sulphur, creating an exceptionally dark blue-black fabric that fades beautifully with wear. The yarn is heavily starched during weaving, so the denim is initially quite stiff and softens considerably over time. Because it has not been pre-skewed, the yarn unwinds with washing, causing the garment to twist and shape to the body. Rinsed and dyed denim has been fully shrunk. Unborn denim jeans are packed immediately after sewing, will arrive considerably oversized, and will shrink down to fit with their first wash or hot soak. Buy your normal size. 100% Cotton.
