Fall collectsions have already started to drop and this year, just like every year, we’ve discovered a ton of incredible new designers we want to share with you. Some are certified fresh with only a couple collectsions under their belt, others have began to make their mark as buzzworthy names during fashion week, but all of them are game changing. From their design ethos to their eye-catching end products, we’re totally hooked. Not to mention, their fall collectsions are going to amp up your wardrobe with everything from statement bags to knitwear you’ll never want to take off.
Without further ado, we’d like to introduce to you the eight emerging designers and under-the-radar fashion labels you need to know.

Meet your new bag obsession. It was love at first sight when we came across these gorgeous woven rope bags, designed by married couple, Coco and Johnny Mannix. The bags were formed out of the need to carry everything from flowers to books – creating that perfect shape and size. Each signature bag is made in their Brooklyn studio with an awareness of the material and the conscious desire to follow the shapes and forms that emerge. Their initial collectsion included circle and bucket bags in the natural rope. For fall 2017, the couple has created their signature bags in a new range of hand-dyed hues, including turmeric, rust and sage.
Fun fact: All their bags are made in the same studio where they live. Bonus: Their trademark circle and bucket bags come in both small and large, so you can choose the one that suits your needs.

We’ve been captivated with this New York-based knitwear collectsion ever since we discovered them, so it’s time everyone else gets on our love level. Founded by Autumn Hruby in 2016, Hesperios presents a women’s collectsion, including unisex styles that are intended to be casually layered wardrobe classics, every season. Drawing reference from literature and the botanical world, its garments are made from the finest baby alpaca wool, cashmere, silk and pima cotton, produced in the US and Lima, Peru. Want more? Working in ecologically-responsible mills, all yarns are custom dyed and printed in a variety of stunning colors. For fall 2017, the collectsion includes everything from ribbed knit pencil skirts to knit polo shirts. Trust us when we say you won’t want to take these pieces off.
Fun fact: Hesperios is not only a clothing collectsion but also an annual two volume art and literary journal that features works of both celebrated and emerging artists, and a shop based in New York where you can buy the collectsion as well as ceramics, books and apothecary goods.

Designer Emily Adams Bode, debuted her collectsion in summer 2016 at New York Fashion Week. Now just only a year old, her brand has been named “Brand to Know” by The New York Times, described as “in a league of its own” by Vogue, and chosen by Man Repeller as one of the “Five Coolest Designers to Know”. Bode’s limited-run pieces repurpose textiles from around the world for one-of-a-kind garments drafted from vintage patterns. For fall 2017, the designer presented a backdrop for the collectsion inspired by her mother and aunts, and they time they spent in Cape Cod. Colors were bright and bold, there were full quilted outfits, mixed patchwork prints, re-created florals from the 1920s, and so much more. We couldn’t be more enamored with this truly artistic collectsion, and think you will be too (if you aren’t already).
Fun fact: Instead of traditional fashion models, Emily Bode had a group of young creative people model her FW17 collectsion. “People keep commenting on how beautiful the group was and I think it’s because they’re not your typical models,” the designer told Fader, “so you look at them in the clothes moreso, and you’re looking at them as real people.”

Committed to natural materials for natural silhouettes, KENT Woman is a collectsion of organic silk lingerie and loungewear basics designed and produced in Los Angeles. Kent’s debut collectsion launched only last year, and to be honest, we can’t get enough! Its apparel is less about sex and more about style and self-love. By using the materials they do and focusing on craftsmanship, they are able to design products that complement, rather than compete, with the female form. This season we’re particularly feeling the romantic colorways and new sateen fabric made from, of course, organic silk. The brand’s take on boxer shorts might be one of the most beautiful things we’ve ever seen.
Fun fact: KENT Woman also contributes to the new global narrative of femininity by creating meaningful opportunities for females around the world. Through The Female Future Project, they partner with progressive social enterprises and nonprofits creating game-changing impact programs for women and girls. With each product, Kent funds a program in one of three areas critical to female growth: health, education and safety/security.
