In 2016, designers and Central Saint Martins art school graduates Alexandra Hadjikyriacou and Jaimee Mckenna combined their skills to found Kepler. Looking to historical garments, civilizations, and Earth’s landscapes, they create a juxtaposed outlook in their pieces. The Kepler customer is utilitarian and refined. She is playful in her form of dressing, deconstructing, and establishing her stylish identity. She finds new diverse solutions within her existing wardrobe. With elements of harshness and sculptural influence, plus a dash of romanticism.
Baserange is a sustainable line of women’s basics focused on clean, easy, and accessible pieces. Founded in 2012 in Denmark and France, the contemporary fashion line had identified a missing link between sporty intimates and lingerie—thus inspiring a collectsion of timeless, wearable silhouettes. The brand prioritizes using organic fabrics and sustainable practices for pieces that will last a lifetime.
Julia Heuer is the eccentric master of a particular Japanese tie-dying technique called arashi shibori. The combination of unique patterns and handmade plissee creates a look that cannot be replicated. She gives this ancient technique a bold, contemporary makeover that delights with sensuous colors and a brash mix of patterns.
Late last year, Portuguese concept store Auné launched their first in-house label, specializing in made-to-order and capsule collectsions. Their printed mesh garments, designed by store owner Xenab Lone, are beautifully unique with gorgeous collages in bold colors. Each piece is playful, sexy, and fun—perfect for a night on the town.
