Stepping out of winter’s black hole sometimes feels like reaching a major milestone! The shedding of heavy layers and consequent swapping for breezy, skin-baring pieces is a ritual that we all love—and do too early. We’re eager to forget that winter was just two weeks ago, and that spring comes before summer. The tumultuous nature of spring is annoying, no doubt about it. As I’m typing this post curled up on the sofa, rain splatters against the window and I’m trying to remember if it was only two days ago that I was basking in the sun at the park. The key to surviving this highs and lows of springtime is layering, layering, and more layering.
