Hello! Thanks for your question. It really depends on your bust as well for this dress, to get the best fit, but for a 29" waist the 8 is probably the way to go. If your bust is on the larger side of the size chart I would consider a 10, but for just the waist, an 8 is probably going to give you the most tailored fit!

Hello! Thanks for your message :) I just took some measurements of the actual garment, and the finished waist is 29". The natural waist to the hem is about 40" and the inseam is 27". Our model, Alex, is on the taller side - 5'10" - so the pants look more cropped on her than they would be on a lot of people. They are meant o to be a bit cropped, but end up being full length on people under 5'5". The colour is more tru tot he flat shot than the shots on the model. The model picture are a bit bright, so I would say these are more of a mustard/ochre situaiton than a yellow. Hope that helps! Let me know if you need any more info!

There isn't a huge length grade between sizes on this style - only 3/8" at most from the shoulder to the crotch, so sizing down might not affect the length that much This fabric does shrink in length by about 4% when washed, so you could expect it to shrink about 1 1/4" in the length after a wash. As far as garment size goes, the 12 is exactly 2" smaller all around than the 14, so if you can pinch one inch out of it between your fingers that will be the fit. I hope that helps!

Haha, I get it!! She was a babe, but 6 feet tall, so it was honestly a real squeeze length wise for her!! It looks best worn a bit larger, so the M would probably be a way better look than wearing it snug. Have a nice evening! Hayley

Hello! Thanks for your message! This style fits a bit small, so I would say if you are normally a 4-6 to go for the M. Hello! Thanks for your message! I just measured the dress and unfortunately the finished hip is about 38.5". so I think it probably won't work. Some of these previously-owned items we have listed have shrunk quite a bit in the wash, so I think that's why. You would probably fit an 8 in many of our other styles :) My apologies! Hayley :)

Our listings include the sizing charts so that you can double check. If this request had been sent within our return policy (standard 2 weeks) or even slightly outside of that time frame we would be happy to exchange but 1 1/2 months later is just too long to have waited to address the sizing with us. As a small business we simply cannot. Though this is not what you were hoping to hear, I hope you understand.

Hey Laurel! Vero's measurements are pretty similar to yours and she often alternates between a 6 or an 8 in Birds of North America, so my guess would be that she is wearing the 8 in this.

Hey there! The Flat lay measurements for the 6 and 8 are as follows: 6 - 14" waist, 19" Hip 8 - 15" Waist, 20" Hip The fabric also has a bit of stretch, so be sure to keep that in mind when making your decision.

Hey there! The 10 waist is 15" and the bust is 17.5" and for the size 12 the waist is 16" and the bust is 18" laid flat! Hope this helps :)

Sure! The size 6 flat hip measurements are 22.5", the size 8 are 23.5".

I'm not sure why the size chart isn't showing, but the size 14 measurements are bust: 41-42", waist: 34-35", hips: 44-45"

Hi! Yes, they fit very similarly, except that the Topaz is more A-line, so there is more room at the hips. But bust & waist measurements are identical.
