S C H A I is an honest representation of designer Suk Chai’s own intellectual and intuitive beliefs about beauty, longevity, and comfort. Growing up the youngest daughter of a fisherman and never having her own wardrobe, Suk Chai learned about timeless silhouettes and the value of materials. From there she put herself through design school in New York and spent 14 years innovating and exacting for the luxury department store cliente. Plus, she continues to work outside her brand as a creative consultant for major Korean and American fashion companies while creating seasonal collectsions for S C H A I. With elegantly modern shapes and cutting-edge architectural lines, her designs have the energy to transform the body, mind, and materials, when worn.
