Comforted by nature, inspired by design, Beklina is at the harmonious crossroads of the two. Founded in 2006, it was the first and original online “eco boutique” and they love collectsions by new and established designers that play with color, print and fresh contrast. Based in Northern California, founder Angelina Rennell also produces her own textiles, clogs and knits, that are not to be missed.
Annie Costello Brown’s very first job was actually with a jewelry designer, stringing beads after school at the age of 15. Her pursuits led her to painting before returning to jewelry as an adult. ACB’s supersized, geometric pieces are evidence of that fine art training in their composition, and that early by-hand work ethic in each piece’s individualized handmade quirks.
