This designer left a corporate fashion design gig to follow her heart and begin her own line of handbags and accessories. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest, Andrea Wong uses reclaimed materials whenever possible, like wax canvas from an American mill that’s been around since 1838 and Swiss-made rock climbings ropes for backpack drawstrings. Each of her pieces are handcrafted in her Vancouver studio, using both modern and old world sewing techniques.
