Most California-based streetwear seems to draw a heavy influence from the area’s pervasive cultural history, but few brands navigate that space with as much originality as Brain Dead. Created by designer Kyle Ng, the brand (that also functions as an art collectsive) blends hyper-modern internet culture, skateboarding, and other underground worlds to create graphic pieces that bring a sense of disruption to fashion. Offerings include hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, and tees with bold illustrations and retro patterns, as well as their signature Brain Dead logo2, for a more subtle look.
