After graduating from the Atelier Chardon Savard in 2008, designer Sandra Meynier Kang created S M K, a clothing line designed for women with an urban and active lifestyle. Juxtoposing themes are constantly incorporated into each collectsion with elements of masculinity, femininity, upscale prep and street wear edge all coming together to create their distinct aesthetic. Sustainability and ethical production are also a strong focus for the brand, with a focus on materials and production in Seoul. Her MO? To respect “every single labor, every single life and positively developing a respective growing way for our environment." Using clothing as platform for social change? Yes please.
