Founders Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh work with local garment workers and artisans in Ghana to create their collectsions, applying traditional techniques to each piece. Osei-Duro aims to support the local apparel industry, on both a large and small scale, in becoming sustainable. Maryanne and Molly met in high school and their friendship continued across the country at fashion school and abroad until they teamed up to create a global fashion line together. The rest, as they say, is history.
